Recursive Find — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

Recursive Find is a browser extension that searches for text on the page you are viewing and, to a depth you choose, on the pages that page links to. This policy explains what the extension accesses and what it does (and does not) do with that information.

The short version: Recursive Find does all of its work locally in your browser. It does not collect, store off your device, sell, or transmit any personal data. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no external servers operated by us.

What the extension accesses

What we do with it

All page content is processed in memory in your browser purely to produce and display search results, and is discarded when the search ends. None of it is sent to us or to any third party. We do not build profiles, run analytics, or log your activity.

Permissions

Data sharing

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties. We do not use your data for any purpose unrelated to the extension's single purpose, and we do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
